His father is a king

Ephesians 3 makes the reader aware of a mystery. There was a mystery yet to be revealed, not only on earth but also in Heaven.
Eph 3:9-11 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; 10 to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, 11 according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,

Do you know the mystery?
Paul was given the answer to this mystery through revelation. Remember when Paul was talking about the abundance of revelation he was given? This was one of those revelations:
Ephesians 3:3 how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already,

Previous generations were not given this knowledge:
Ephesians 3:5 which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:
So what is it?
Ephesians 3:6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,

Heirs to The King!!! Not just dogs looking for scraps....HEIRS!

I want to share a quick story I heard years ago:

During the time of slavery in America, a slave owner brought several of his slaves to auction. As the other slave owners were trying to decide on who they wanted to bid on, one said to the other, “I want him”.

The slave owner looked to see who he was talking about, then turned back to the man and said, “Oh no, I am sorry, he is not for sale.”

The man asked, “why?”

The slave owner said, “well, as you can see, he is different.”

The man asked, “why is he so different?”

The slave owner said, “because in Africa his father is a king, and in his mind he knows he is a prince, so he walks like one, he talks like one and he acts like one.”

When you belong to The King of kings and Lord of lords, you are a prince (or princess).....you need to walk like one, talk like one and act like one.

Our Daddy not only can, but is willing to:
Ephesians 3:20b ... do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

Have you every asked your dad to borrow the car and he said, “actually I have a brand new BMW sitting in the driveway for you”?

I know that is a silly analogy; but our Daddy wants to bless us beyond what we would ever think to ask. I am not talking about the heretical prosperity message that is running rampant. I am talking about blessings that matter for eternity. Not blessings where rust and moths destroy. PRAISE GOD!

Ephesians 3:19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
